A fight that fits, in one tap

Set your party size, your party level and how dangerous you want it, then tap Build encounter. The builder picks a themed group of monsters — undead, raiders, beasts or worse — and scales their numbers to the threat you asked for, then drops them into a place with a complication to keep the fight from being a straight slugfest. Roll again for a fresh one whenever the party wanders somewhere you didn't plan.

Reading the result

You get a one-line setting (a collapsed crypt, a fog-choked bridge), the monsters and how many of each, and a twist — a hostage in the crossfire, a floor about to give way, reinforcements on the way. The numbers are a system-neutral starting point; trust your read of the table and adjust on the fly.

Is this balanced to exact encounter-building math?
It's a fast, system-neutral approximation, not a strict budget calculator. Use it as a strong starting point and tune to your group.
Can I get a non-combat result?
This tool builds fights. For social scenes, pair it with the NPC Generator and Tavern Generator.
Does it save anything?
No — everything is generated in your browser.
